San Salvador de Jujuy municipality expands free pet rabies vaccination and opens winter children colonies

The Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy will continue its free rabies vaccination and pet registration campaign from July 6 to July 10, extending to July 18 in select locations. Fixed booths and door‑to‑door visits are planned across neighborhoods such as Alto Comedero, San Francisco de Álava, Huaico, and others to promote responsible pet ownership and disease prevention.

Separately, the municipal N.I.D.O. “Parque General Belgrano” will begin registrations on July 6 for “Winter Colonies” that run from July 20 to July 24. The program offers children aged 6‑13 a range of activities, including creative arts, movie screenings, sports, theater, and treasure hunts, aimed at fostering emotional expression and community engagement.

Both initiatives reflect the city’s effort to provide free health services for pets and recreational opportunities for youth during the winter break.
