San Sebastián Film Festival announces Perlak section lineup
The 74th San Sebastián International Film Festival has announced the selection for its Perlak section, featuring 16 feature films. The lineup includes numerous titles previously recognized at major international festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin, and Sundance.
Andrey Zvyagintsev will open the section with ‘Minotaur’, a free adaptation of Claude Chabrol’s ‘La femme infidèle’, which won the Grand Prix at Cannes. Other notable directors included in the selection are Cristian Mungiu, presenting ‘Fjord’, Olivia Wilde with ‘The Invite’, Pawel Pawlikowski with ‘Fatherland’, and Nanni Moretti with ‘Succederà questa notte’.
Most films in the section will compete for the ‘Premio del Público Ciudad de Donostia / San Sebastián’. The section will conclude with ‘Juste une illusion’ by Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano, which will be screened out of competition.
