San Sebastián de La Solana August Festivities 2026 Schedule Released

The Archdiocese of Madrid and the Hermandad del Santísimo Cristo de los Remedios have published the program for the 2026 San Sebastián de La Solana patron saint celebrations. The three‑day triduo will run from 25 to 27 August with nightly Masses at 21:00, followed on 27 August by a medal‑imposition ceremony for new Brotherhood members.

On Friday, 28 August, the day begins with a 9:30 Mass, a floral offering at 11:45, and a solemn 12:00 Mass. The afternoon includes a children’s offering at 18:30 and the main procession of the Santísimo Cristo de los Remedios at 21:00, moving through the town’s streets. Saturday features a “Macroboda” tribute and a special foam‑party for children, while Sunday concludes with a floral tribute, a Mass for the patron, and the traditional puja.

The local Hermandad de San Sebastián, newly led by President José Santos‑Olmo, has added a foam‑party for kids and a DJ‑driven evening program, alongside traditional music, bingo, and a communal paella. Santos‑Olmo highlighted strong community participation and a successful online sweet‑sale campaign supporting the festivities.
