San-X announces new Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi merchandise

San-X has announced new merchandise series for its popular characters, Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi, scheduled for release around September 2026.

The ‘Ano koro no Rilakkuma’ series will feature nostalgic themes used between 2003 and 2012, such as ‘Honey & Smile’ and ‘Strawberry’. The lineup includes secret memos, hanging plush mascots, and other goods celebrating the character's history. This release coincides with the 10th anniversary of Korilakkuma.

Additionally, the ‘Itsudemo Bakery Zakka’ series will launch in mid-September 2026. This collection features a bakery motif for both Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi, including kitchenware like mugs and plates, shopping bags, and soft plush toys. The series will also include a new plush item for the Sumikko Gurashi character ‘Pan Tencho’.
