San-X announces new Uso Tantei Tomant merchandise

San-X and Fanworks have announced a new line of merchandise for the character series “Uso Tantei Tomant,” themed around a confrontation between the detective Tomant and Phantom Thief Paprika.

The collection includes a variety of items such as memo pads, carabiner keychains, stickers, plush badges, hand-held plushies, hanging plushies, flat pouches, and mini tote bags. The products are scheduled for release in early October 2026 through retailers nationwide and the San-X online shop.

The “Uso Tantei Tomant” series features characters inspired by fruits and vegetables. The protagonist, Tomant, is a detective capable of uncovering lies. The franchise includes short animations that have aired on JR East’s “TRAIN TV” and Nippon TV’s “ZIP!”.
