San Zaccaria mineral water recalled due to bacterial risk

The Italian Ministry of Health has issued an urgent recall for a specific batch of San Zaccaria natural mineral water due to potential microbiological contamination. Laboratory tests identified the possible presence of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a bacterium that can cause serious infections.

The recall specifically affects one-liter glass bottles from the production lot L26239221100, which has an expiration date of August 27, 2028. The water is produced and bottled by Fonti Terme di Brennero S.r.l. at their facility in Bolzano.

Authorities advise consumers to check their supplies immediately. If the product matches the specified lot number, it should not be consumed and should be returned to the retailer.
