Sandisk launches new NAS SSD portfolio for high-endurance storage
Sandisk has announced the launch of its new NAS SSD portfolio, specifically designed for high-endurance, multi-user network-attached storage environments. The lineup includes the NAS 600 SATA SSD and the NAS 800 NVMe SSD.
The NAS 600 is a 2.5-inch SATA-III drive intended for modernizing existing NAS systems by replacing traditional hard drives or serving as a high-speed cache. It is available in capacities ranging from 500 GB to 4 TB, with the 4 TB model offering up to 2,500 TBW (Total Bytes Written) and a Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) of 2.25 million hours.
The NAS 800 is an M.2 NVMe SSD utilizing a PCIe Gen5 interface, engineered for all-flash or hybrid NAS deployments that require high performance for business-critical or creative professional workloads. Both products are optimized for reliability in multi-drive and RAID configurations and come with a 5-year warranty.
