SanDisk launches Pokémon-themed storage collection

SanDisk has expanded its product portfolio through an official collaboration with The Pokémon Company International to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise. The new collection features two themed storage devices: a USB-C flash drive inspired by Mew and a portable SSD inspired by Mewtwo.

The Mew edition USB-C flash drive offers capacities up to 128 GB and is designed for portability and compatibility with phones, tablets, and computers. The Mewtwo edition portable SSD is available in 500 GB and 1 TB capacities, offering read speeds of up to 1,000 MB/s and drop resistance from heights of up to two meters.

While the Mewtwo SSD shares technical specifications similar to SanDisk’s existing Portable SSD V3, the collection focuses on aesthetic appeal and brand identity for collectors and fans. Prices for the Mewtwo SSD range from $119.99 to $199 depending on the capacity.
