Sandlot announces Earth Defense Force 6. 2 for PlayStation 5

Sandlot and D3 Publisher have announced Earth Defense Force 6. 2: Invaders from Another World, an updated and optimized version of the 2022 title Earth Defense Force 6 for the PlayStation 5.

The new installment aims to provide an extreme sense of desperation by doubling the number of enemies on screen compared to the previous game. Players will face massive quantities of insects, such as ants, wasps, and spiders, alongside giant frogs and spaceships. The update will include new missions, making it the title with the most missions in the series to date, and will incorporate content previously exclusive to DLC.

Currently, the release is confirmed for Japan in 2027. The game is expected to be playable at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.
