Sandro Alex proposes new hospital and infrastructure for Paraná

Sandro Alex, the PSD candidate for Governor of Paraná, has presented several infrastructure and healthcare proposals for the state's western region during recent meetings in Foz do Iguaçu and São Miguel do Iguaçu.

A central pillar of his government plan is the construction of a large-scale hospital in Foz do Iguaçu. The proposed facility would feature over 300 beds, multiple intensive care units (ICUs), and specialized services in urgency, emergency, and complex orthopedic and vascular care. Alex noted that the hospital is necessary to serve both local residents and foreign patients, including those from Paraguay.

Alex also outlined several other regional commitments, including: • The creation of a Rural Patrol Battalion. • A new Military Police school in Cascavel. • The inclusion of Toledo in the regional Integrated Management Cabinets program. • Enhancing Foz do Iguaçu's international profile to attract more foreign tourists.

During his campaign events, Alex emphasized his continuity of the current administration's work under Governor Ratinho Junior, highlighting past collaborations with Itaipu Binacional on projects such as the duplication of the Rodovia das Cataratas.
