Sanjay Seth requests tax-free status for film ‘Hanuman Ansh’ in Jharkhand

Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth has requested Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren to make the film ‘Hanuman Ansh’ tax-free in the state. The film, which has seen strong box office performance despite its low budget, is based on the life and ideals of the saint and Hanuman devotee Neem Karoli Baba.

In a letter to the Chief Minister, Seth emphasized the film's cultural and social significance, stating it effectively presents Indian culture and Sanatana values in a modern context. He noted that the film serves as a tool for character building among the youth and promotes cultural connection. The Uttarakhand government has already granted tax-free status to the film.
