Sanjay Singh accuses BJP of threatening Constitution and reservations

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of threatening the Indian Constitution and attempting to end reservation benefits. Singh specifically alleged that the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh deprived backward classes of their rights during the recruitment of 69,000 teachers.

Singh stated that the struggle for the rights of backward classes would continue through protests, Parliament, and the Supreme Court. He also noted that he held discussions with Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav regarding these issues ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.

Additionally, Singh raised concerns regarding five schools in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, which he claimed are “missing” despite being listed as active on the U-DISE platform. He demanded that FIRs be registered for the alleged disappearance of these institutions.
