Sankamap Metals reports high-grade gold discovery in Solomon Islands

Sankamap Metals has reported a high-grade gold finding at its Fauro property located within the copper-gold belt of the Solomon Islands. A significant sample yielded 6.78 grams of gold per tonne (g/t) from an area that had not been historically sampled.

The company is conducting a systematic district-scale prospecting program across its 24,100-hectare property. While 829 samples have been collected, laboratory results for 798 of those samples are still pending. Field observations of local gold washers suggest the presence of an extensive precious metal system fed by structures along the caldera.
