Sanok Municipality Secures 364,290 PLN for Senior Care under Poland’s ‘Opieka 75+’ Program

Gmina Sanok, a municipality in Poland’s Podkarpackie region, signed an agreement with the regional governor, Teresą Kubas‑Hul, to receive a targeted grant of 364,290.05 zł from the state budget under the national "Opieka 75+" program. The funds will be used exclusively to organize and provide direct home‑based care services for residents aged 75 and older, covering both standard and specialized assistance, but excluding specialized mental‑health care. The program aims to improve access to professional support for seniors whose advanced age, health decline, or disability hinder daily functioning.
