Sanpellegrino Group completes ecological restoration of Gabbianello Oasis

The Sanpellegrino Group, through its Acqua Panna brand, has completed an ecological and hydrological redevelopment project at the Gabbianello Oasis located on the shores of Lake Bilancino in Mugello, Italy. Supported by an investment exceeding 2 million euros, the initiative has expanded the wetland area by 28% and improved water catchment systems from the Tavaiano stream.

The project includes reforestation efforts and the creation of new habitats for amphibians and migratory birds. Additionally, a new educational path has been inaugurated, featuring tactile content and panels designed to make the oasis accessible to blind and visually impaired visitors.

This initiative is part of the F.O.N.T.E. program, a long-term strategy by the Sanpellegrino Group focused on protecting water resources and biodiversity in the territories where it operates. The presentation of the completed works included regional and local officials, including the President of the Tuscany Region, Eugenio Giani.
