Sanpellegrino invests 30 million euros in territorial sustainability
Fabiana Marchini, Head of Sustainability & Corporate Affairs at Sanpellegrino, has outlined the company’s sustainability strategy, emphasizing a deep connection to the territories where they operate. Speaking at an event in Rome, Marchini stated that because the company’s business is not easily relocatable, they hold a significant responsibility to protect the natural resources and ecosystems that provide their water.
As part of their ‘Fonte’ program—an acronym for Future, origin, nature, territory, and ecosystems—the company aims to build territorial resilience against climate change. Sanpellegrino has invested 30 million euros over the last five years toward protecting water resources, enhancing biodiversity, and safeguarding ecosystems in their operational areas.
