Sanremo Coppa Tre Ponti and Giovinazzo Regata dei Gonfaloni Showcase 2026 Italian Youth Sailing Events

The Coppa Tre Ponti 2026 took place on July 10 in Sanremo, organized by the Circolo Velico Capo Verde in partnership with the Yacht Club Sanremo and Porto Maurizio Yacht Club. More than 50 young sailors from the sailing schools of Sanremo, Imperia and Ospedaletti participated despite strong winds that limited some races. The podium was topped by Alfredo Fessi of Yacht Club Sanremo, with Andrea Lolli second and Riccardo De Michele (Lega Navale Italiana – Sanremo) third; Sara Bruccule of Porto Maurizio Yacht Club was the top female competitor. President Gina Zaoli praised the event as a celebration of sailing, friendship and youth development.

The Regata dei Gonfaloni is scheduled for August 2, 2026, in Cala Porto, Giovinazzo. Hosted by the Associazione Vogatori "Massimo Cervone" as the final stage of the Trofeo dell'Adriatico e del Mar Ionio, the program includes a mass at 08:30, team accreditation, flag‑raising, the first race at 10:00, refreshments, a second race at 16:30 and the awards ceremony at 19:30. The regatta continues the tradition of community rowing events on the Adriatic coast.
