Sanrio announces Pompompurin 30th anniversary festival in Yokohama

Sanrio has announced details for ‘Pom Fest,’ a two-day event celebrating the 30th anniversary of its character Pompompurin. The festival will take place on September 12 and 13, 2026, at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse in Kanagawa Prefecture.

The event will feature several themed zones, including a stage area for live performances, a merchandise area selling approximately 20 types of limited-edition items such as T-shirts and penlights, a food area with themed menus like ‘Pompompurin bread,’ and a game area with interactive activities.

Musical performances will include the debut of the original festival song ‘Pom Pom☆PARADISE’ by Pompompurin, alongside guest artists such as Juice=Juice on the first day and Monaki on the second day. While general admission to the event is free, a paid ticket system is in place for the area directly in front of the stage.
