Santa Catalina Solar Park nears completion in Corrientes

The Santa Catalina Photovoltaic Solar Park in Corrientes, Argentina, is entering its final construction stages. Developed by Coral Energía, a company under Grupo Corven, the project covers 40 hectares within the Santa Catalina Industrial and Technological Park.

The facility will feature 41,216 solar panels with an installed capacity of 20 MW, representing an estimated investment of US$ 13.3 million. Construction, which began in December 2025, is currently over 60% complete and employs approximately 80 people, 75% of whom are local residents. Energy generation is expected to begin in mid-October, with full commercial operation and grid connection scheduled for October 2026.

This project is part of a broader expansion by Coral Energía, which includes the Bella Vista Solar Park. Together, these developments will provide a total generation capacity of 30 MW and a combined investment exceeding US$ 20.9 million, aiming to supply clean energy equivalent to the consumption of more than 23,000 Argentine households.
