Santa Catarina sees new EV charging network and Master Supermarket launch

The Esquina do Futuro network, operated by Grupo FRP, announced a 2 million‑real investment to add 15 multiservice electric‑vehicle charging stations in Santa Catarina. The first five sites will open in the first half of July in Florianópolis (city centre), Palhoça and three locations in São José, with the remaining ten planned for installation between August and September, extending coverage to Itapema.

Meanwhile, the Grupo Master group opened its first Master Supermercados store in the state, located in Campos Novos. The supermarket began operations on 16 July, creating over 100 direct jobs and around 110 indirect positions. The new outlet offers a full‑service layout with a bakery, meat counter, fresh produce, wine cellar, café space and a dedicated wellness area, and opened with community events featuring free entertainment and promotional activities.
