Santa Cruz de Tenerife to host 18th Plenilunio festival

The 18th edition of Plenilunio, a commercial, cultural, and leisure event in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, is scheduled to take place from October 2 to 4. The festival will center on the theme of the ‘Four Elements’ (Earth, Air, Fire, and Water) and aims to revitalize the city's economy and commerce.

The municipal government, through the Sociedad de Desarrollo, is allocating over 700,000 euros across approximately ten contracts to facilitate the event. This represents an increase of about 60,000 euros compared to the previous year. Key expenditures include 118,574 euros for musical performances, 90,000 euros for advertising and design, and 82,000 euros for a drone light show.

Umiles Entertainment has been awarded the contract for the ‘Drone Light Show 500 Los Cuatro Elementos,’ which will feature 500 drones illuminating the maritime avenue and port on the opening night. The festival will expand into the Ramblas area for the first time and will feature more than 100 activities across various locations, including García Sanabria Park and the Port Esplanade.
