Santa Cruz implements educational support and teacher training programs

The Santa Cruz Provincial Council of Education is implementing several initiatives to support the province's educational system. Through the EduActiva program, the government has distributed sports supplies and nearly 600 pairs of school footwear to various institutions in Puerto San Julián to promote student inclusion and health.

Additionally, a new Management and Leadership for Wellbeing program has been launched in collaboration with CGC and the Varkey Foundation. This 12-week training initiative targets approximately 100 educators and leadership teams across 34 institutions in the central and northern zones, including Caleta Olivia. The curriculum focuses on emotional intelligence, non-violent communication, and character education to improve institutional climates.

In the southern region, the Rural Itinerant Secondary School No. 35 organized a multi-sectoral meeting in Bella Vista. This event brought together students from various rural locations, including Estancia Glencross and Camusu Aike, providing a space for sports, art, and vocational guidance supported by local security and military logistics.
