Santa Fe authorities demolish drug dens in Rosario

Authorities in Santa Fe have continued to dismantle drug distribution sites in Rosario under the Micro-trafficking Law. Recent operations in the city and the Las Flores neighborhood resulted in the demolition of several makeshift structures used for illegal drug sales.

In one specific operation on Lamadrid Street, police seized over 250 doses of cocaine and more than $100,000 in cash. The investigation followed neighborhood reports regarding a clandestine construction near a health center and schools. Three individuals, including two minors, were identified during the raid.

These interventions bring the total number of inactivated drug dens in Rosario to 86, with 145 such sites demolished across the entire province since the beginning of Governor Maximiliano Pullaro’s administration. Omar Pereira, Secretary of Public Security, stated that these operations aim to reduce violence in sensitive areas and noted that indicators show a reduction in local violence levels following each intervention.
