Santa Fe inaugurates Polo de la Niñez in Rosario

The government of Santa Fe is inaugurating the Polo de la Niñez in Rosario, a specialized facility designed to protect children and adolescents whose rights have been violated. Located in a 2,600-square-meter building at the intersection of Santa Fe and Sarmiento, the center will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The facility will host an interdisciplinary team of approximately 190 professionals, including doctors, psychologists, social workers, therapists, and lawyers. The goal of the center is to provide a centralized location for intervention, preventing minors from having to repeat their testimonies to multiple different agencies following incidents of violence or other rights violations.

Daniela León, Secretary of Children, Adolescents, and Family Rights, described the center as a way to restore rights and provide a more adequate working environment for professionals compared to previous administrative structures. The center's coverage will include Rosario and several localities in the southern part of the province.
