Santa Fe to recruit 1,400 police cadets with scholarships up to 500,000 pesos

The Ministry of Justice and Security of Santa Fe province announced a recruitment drive for 1,400 cadets to study the Técnico Superior en Seguridad Pública y Ciudadana, the qualification required to join the provincial police. Training will run from March 2027 to December 2028 at the Institute of Public Security (ISEP) facilities in Rosario and Recreo, with a residential internship model and weekends off.

Applicants aged 18‑30, Argentine citizens and meeting health and legal criteria can apply online between 22 June and 15 August. The new scholarship scheme offers monthly payments of 500,000 pesos for candidates from priority departments in the southern part of the province and 250,000 pesos for those from other areas, plus free housing, meals, medical coverage and transport. "Rediseñamos el plan de becas para que más jóvenes se sumen a formar parte de la Policía de la invencible provincia de Santa Fe," said Georgina Orciani, secretary of coordination and finance.

Graduates will receive a starting salary of roughly 2,093,743 pesos and additional benefits such as a police food card, uniform and equipment. Governor Maximiliano Pullaro highlighted that the force has helped cut violence sharply in recent years.
