Santa Fe Province launches table to modernize cargo transport and logistics

The government of Argentina's Santa Fe province unveiled the Provincial Table for Technological Transition of the Cargo and Logistics Sector. Coordinated by Juan Manuel Agostini, director of Cargo Transport, and Andrea Magnani, director of Sustainable Mobility, the body brings together more than 150 representatives from companies, business chambers, universities and technical institutes.

The table will work through the second half of 2026 on a roadmap to introduce new technologies, run pilot projects measuring greenhouse‑gas emissions, and support the energy transition in freight transport. Ministers Gustavo Puccini and Enrique Estévez highlighted the link between production competitiveness and environmental care, noting Santa Fe's role as Argentina's main logistics hub on the Hidrovía and the bio‑ceanic corridor.
