Santa Fe Province opens enrollment for new education scholarships
Enrollment for the new Provincial Education Scholarship system in Santa Fe began on Monday, 8 June, and will remain open until 22 June. Applications are submitted online through the “Mi Escuela” platform.
The program offers a monthly grant of 100,000 Argentine pesos from May to December to up to 10,000 students: those in 7th‑grade primary, all secondary‑level grades, and special‑education pupils with at‑risk academic trajectories. Applicants must be enrolled in compulsory education in Santa Fe, demonstrate socio‑economic vulnerability, not receive a similar scholarship, and provide supporting documentation digitally; special‑education cases are handled through schools with a paper form.
Governor Maximiliano Pullaro ordered the redesign, and Education Minister José Goity said the initiative focuses on retaining secondary students and supporting the transition from primary to secondary school. The new system unifies existing scholarships under a single provincial policy and uses a Provincial Priority Education Index, which weighs socio‑educational and economic variables to allocate funds.
