Santa Rosa de Lima celebrated with mass and music in Peru

Hundreds of devotees gathered at the Sanctuary of Santa Rosa de Lima in Peru to celebrate the eve of the feast day of the first saint of the Americas. The event featured a mass presided over by Fray Alejandro Maquera Calderón, followed by a procession of the venerated image to the main door of the Basilica.

In coordination with the Dominican friars, Radio Santa Rosa TV organized a ‘Serenata Criolla’ to celebrate Peruvian identity through music. The musical program included performances by La Rockola Peruana, led by Luis García Z., and various artists such as Milagros Guerrero, Silvia Cornejo, and Karem Farias.
