In the Sanctuary of Santa Rosa de Lima, hundreds of devotees attended a mass presided over by Fray Alejandro Maquera Calderón, followed by a procession of the saint’s image. The celebrations also included a ‘Serenata Criolla’ organized by Radio Santa Rosa TV to celebrate Peruvian identity through music. Regional celebrations extended to Argentina (Purmamarca), Venezuela (El Palotal), Brazil (Jaguarari), Mexico (Guanajuato), and Paraguay, where the Bishop of Caacupé exhorted police officers to serve with humility and integrity. In Argentina, Governor Carlos Sadir participated in festivities in Los Lapachos.
