Santander hosts cultural exhibition featuring six nations

The Santander City Council and the Consular Corps have organized a free exhibition at the Juan de Santander Civic Center to showcase the cultural diversity of six nations. The event, which runs until Sunday, September 6, features materials and works provided by the respective consulates of Malta, Brazil, Lithuania, Ecuador, Ukraine, and Poland.

Mateo Echevarría, the Councilor for Immigration and Development Cooperation, stated that the initiative aims to provide visibility to the diverse cultures within Santander and foster mutual understanding among citizens. The exhibition highlights the traditions, heritage, and representative landmarks of the participating countries. The project seeks to promote cultural, tourist, and gastronomic exchange to strengthen ties between local residents and international communities.
