In Santiago, Dominican Republic, a court has sentenced three individuals—Wilex Agustín, Majorit Bautista, and José Ramón De León Gil—to 15 years in prison for operating a human trafficking network. The group facilitated the illegal entry of Haitian migrants through the Dajabón border and used a residence in La Canela to hide them. De León Gil also faced charges for identity theft involving a Dominican citizen.

In Chile, six individuals, including citizens from Colombia, Argentina, and Chile, were convicted of drug trafficking in Temuco following the seizure of cannabis, cocaine, ketamine, and ecstasy.

Other notable criminal proceedings include the deportation of a Spanish national from the Dominican Republic to Spain due to an INTERPOL Red Notice regarding international cocaine trafficking, and the sentencing of a Nicaraguan businesswoman in El Salvador to eight years for tax evasion involving over $4.2 million.
