Santo Tomé police detain two minors for school robbery

Police in Santo Tomé, Corrientes, have identified and detained two minors, aged 14 and 16, following a robbery and act of vandalism at the Escuela Normal ‘Profesor Víctor Mercante’.

Using security camera footage from a monitoring center, authorities located the youths in possession of various stolen items, including school supplies, water thermoses, and a router. Following medical examinations and legal procedures, the minors were released to their parents under official record. The school's rector, Ana Matucheski, expressed gratitude to the police for their rapid response and for recovering the institution's property.
