Sara Nicole Cancedda re-elected president of Sardi Emigrati Uniti

Sara Nicole Cancedda has been officially confirmed as the president of Sardi Emigrati Uniti (SEU) following the association’s inaugural congress held in Florence. The event brought together representatives from 26 Sardinian circles across various regions of Italy to consolidate the federation’s organizational structure.

Cancedda, a lawyer originally from Gonnosnò, will lead a newly elected administrative body for the next three years. The leadership team aims to bridge generational gaps by integrating first- and second-generation Sardinians, including members under the age of 35, to strengthen the cultural and social ties between Sardinia and its emigrant communities.

During the congress, Regional Councilor for Labor and Emigration Desirè Manca expressed the region's willingness to collaborate with the federation. The association seeks to transform Sardinian emigration into a cultural and human resource that contributes to the development of the island.
