Sarah Knafo calls for right-wing unity in France

Sarah Knafo, a European Member of Parliament for the Reconquête party, is advocating for a unity of right-wing political forces ahead of the 2027 French presidential election. In recent media appearances, Knafo expressed openness to potentially serving in a government led by the Rassemblement National (RN) should Marine Le Pen win, suggesting a collaborative model similar to Italian political coalitions.

While open to cooperation, Knafo emphasized that any such partnership would require a government to defend programs aligned with her specific convictions. She intends to maintain a distinct political identity focused on identity and firm sovereignty, while proposing economic policies she describes as more credible and revolutionary than the RN’s more state-oriented approach. She also highlighted issues such as national debt, insecurity, and immigration as priorities.

In a separate media appearance on CNews to promote her new book, ‘Le Casse du Siècle’ (The Heist of the Century), Knafo criticized the French state's spending and tax complexity. She argued that the current system is overly complicated and suggested that high taxation is a primary burden on citizens.
