Sarah Storey joins Strictly Come Dancing 2026 celebrity lineup

The BBC’s flagship dance show Strictly Come Dancing returns in September 2026 on BBC One and iPlayer, hosted by Emma Willis alongside new professional co‑presenters Johannes Radebe and comedian Josh Widdicombe. The judging panel remains unchanged with Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas.

Paralympic legend Dame Sarah Storey was announced on 17 July as the seventh celebrity contestant. Storey, Britain’s most decorated Paralympian with 19 gold medals, said she is “excited to take on a new challenge” and looks forward to learning from the dance world. The announcement also noted presenter Will Best joining the show, while several professional dancers from the previous series have departed.

The lineup marks the latest refresh of the long‑running series, combining new faces with the familiar judging and hosting team.
