Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs welcomes 56 new officers

Fifty-six new police officers have completed their training at the FMoI Police Academy and taken their official oaths. The new cohort consists of ten women and 46 men who will begin working across all organizational units of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Directorate.

During the ceremony, Police Commissioner Fatmir Hajdarević emphasized that the role requires courage, integrity, and responsibility, noting that citizens expect fairness, professionalism, and impartiality. Minister of Internal Affairs Admir Katica highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen the ministry's capacities, stating that personnel reinforcement in recent years has brought the number of new officers to nearly 1,000.
