Sarang Helicopter Display Team to perform at Egypt's El Alamein Airshow

The Indian Air Force’s Sarang Helicopter Display Team is participating in the second edition of the El Alamein International Airshow in Egypt. The event is scheduled to take place from September 8 to 10 at El Alamein International Airport.

As the world’s only five-helicopter display team, Sarang will fly the indigenously designed and manufactured Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv. The team is expected to perform choreographed aerial sequences, including their signature ‘Dolphin Leap’ manoeuvre and a new manoeuvre titled the ‘Spot Stall Turn’.

The Indian Ministry of Defence stated that the team’s presence serves as a milestone in international engagement and reflects strengthening defence and diplomatic ties between India and Egypt. The airshow serves as a global gathering for air forces and professionals from the aerospace, defence, and space sectors.
