Czech Republic expands sports infrastructure with new stadiums and parks
Various sports facilities across the Czech Republic are undergoing significant upgrades and new constructions. Meanwhile, the city of Opava is also managing the demolition of the Slezanka department store to prepare for future urban development.
In Ostrava, SAREZA has added a new outdoor padel court at the Poruba Sports Complex, and a memorandum between the city and the Moravian-Silesian Region has paved the way for a new football training center in Nová Ves. Other regional developments include a new streetpark in Žďár nad Sázavou featuring a pumptrack and parkour zones, a modernized climbing wall in Plzeň-Doudlevce, and the commencement of construction on a high-standard roller sports arena at Ladronka in Prague 6.
Additionally, the municipality of Nezdenice has completed a reconstruction of its football club's changing rooms, upgrading the water supply and sanitary facilities.
