Sarnano Scarfiotti Hill‑Climb Registrations Open Until July 20

The 35th Trofeo Lodovico Scarfiotti historic hill‑climb, a round of the Italian Mountain Speed Championship (both historic and modern classes), will take place from 24 to 26 July 2026 in the spa town of Sarnano, Province of Macerata, Marche. Registrations are accepted until Monday 20 July.

The event covers a 9.927 km ascent from Sarnano up to the summit of Sassotetto in the Monti Sibillini, with an average gradient of 7.82 %. Competitors will run the course twice on Saturday and twice on Sunday. The race is organized by ASD AC Macerata and backed by the municipality of Sarnano, the province and the Marche region, which view it as a key tourist‑promotion tool. Past editions highlighted drivers such as Giuliano Peroni, Arnaldo Pinto, Tiberio Nocentini and Fabio Torsellini.
