Sarwendah submits custody and maintenance evidence to Indonesia's KPAI

On 25 June 2026, Indonesian celebrity Sarwendah and her lawyer Chris Sam Siwu visited the Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) in Jakarta to hand over evidence – including text messages and documents – pertaining to a dispute over child custody and maintenance with actor Ruben Onsu. The filing seeks to protect the welfare of their children and asks the independent child‑protection commission to assess the material.

Sarwendah’s team limited public comments, stating that further discussion could harm the children’s psychological well‑being. They emphasized they are the complainants, not the accused, and plan a meeting with Ruben Onsu on 11 July to resolve the matter. All further statements will be made through appropriate legal channels or the KPAI’s findings.
