Lufthansa to resume Bremen-Frankfurt route in 2027

Lufthansa has announced the resumption of its flight route between Bremen and Frankfurt, scheduled to begin with the summer flight plan in 2027. The airline plans to initially operate one daily flight between the Hanseatic city and its major hub in Frankfurt, with departure times alternating between morning and evening to provide various connection options.

While the connection to Frankfurt will be restored, the airline will simultaneously reduce its service capacity between Bremen and Munich. According to the Bremen Senate, the service to Munich is expected to decrease to nearly four daily flights from the current average of approximately five. This change aims to improve Bremen's connectivity to Lufthansa's international long-haul network via the Frankfurt hub.
