Sasang-gu Council conducts anti-corruption training

The Sasang-gu Council in Busan conducted anti-corruption and integrity training for 31 members, including 10 councilors and 21 staff members. The session was organized following the council's selection as a target institution for the ‘Local Council Integrity Training Course’ supported by the National Integrity and Civil Rights Education Institute under the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.

The training focused on enhancing understanding of anti-corruption laws and systems, such as the ‘Conflict of Interest Prevention Act for Public Servants’ and the ‘Improper Solicitation and Graft Act.’ To engage participants, the program included a modern reinterpretation of traditional pansori music, ‘Byeoljubujeon,’ to communicate the importance of integrity through cultural performance.

Council Chairman Kim Jong-seon emphasized that integrity is the most vital value for maintaining public trust in legislative activities. The council plans to continue implementing various anti-corruption measures and training in cooperation with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission to foster a transparent administrative culture.
