Satanic Planet releases “Church Burning” music video

The band Satanic Planet has released the music video for “Church Burning,” a single from their new album, Dead Deities, via Relapse Records. The project features members including Lucien Greaves, a co-founder of The Satanic Temple, alongside musicians such as Dave Lombardo and Justin Pearson.

According to Lucien Greaves, the song “Church Burning” addresses a 2022 incident in which an individual set fire to The Satanic Temple headquarters in Salem. The music is described as a form of protest against religious violence, autocracy, and Christian nationalism, aiming to advocate for benevolence and oppose injustice through art and activism.
