Satish Salian demands death penalty in Disha Salian case
Satish Salian, father of the late Disha Salian, has submitted an official statement to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) following orders from the Bombay High Court. Salian is demanding the strictest possible legal penalties, including life imprisonment or the death penalty, for those he holds responsible for his daughter's death and the subsequent alleged cover-up.
In his statement, Salian named several high-profile individuals, including politician Aaditya Thackeray, actor Dino Morea, and actor Suraj Pancholi, alleging their involvement or role in suppressing the case. He also implicated former police officials Param Bir Singh and Sachin Waze, along with Rhea Chakraborty, in the alleged cover-up.
Satish Salian has specifically challenged claims made by Aaditya Thackeray, labeling them as false and misleading. He noted that the High Court previously rejected Thackeray's objections to a CBI probe and that Thackeray's legal counsel had to apologize for providing incorrect information regarding the case's status in the Supreme Court. Salian also cited evidence from Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) chats and mobile tower locations to dispute Thackeray's previous assertions regarding his connections to the individuals involved and his whereabouts during the time of the incident.
