Satna police arrest three women for jewelry shop theft

Police in Nagaud, Satna, have solved a jewelry shop theft, resulting in the arrest of three women, including two sisters-in-law. The suspects, identified as Phulbai, Rajkumari, and Poonam, confessed to the crime after being detained following a tip-off.

The theft occurred at Vikas Kumar Soni’s jewelry shop on September 6. The suspects reportedly entered the shop under the guise of purchasing silver bangles for a festival. Upon their departure, the shop owner discovered that a box containing gold lockets was missing from an almirah. Following a review of nearby CCTV footage, police identified the suspects and recovered six lockets valued at approximately 2.5 lakh rupees.
