Jewelry shop theft in Mathura

A perpetrator entered the shop via the roof and accessed the strong room, escaping with approximately 10 kilograms of gold jewelry and 15 lakh rupees in cash. The stolen gold is valued at roughly 14 crore rupees.

The thief specifically targeted high-value gold and cash while ignoring silver and brass items. To avoid identification, the perpetrator also stole the shop’s DVR. The incident has caused outrage among local traders, who have threatened to close the market if the crime is not solved, particularly as a police picket is located only 100 meters from the site.
