Saturday Night Live airs Jalen Brunson premiere rerun

Saturday Night Live is airing a repeat of its Season 52 premiere on October 17, 2026, instead of a new episode. The rerun features host Jalen Brunson, the New York Knicks guard, and musical guest KATSEYE.

The scheduled break follows the October 10 episode hosted by Shane Gillis, which drew controversy and criticism regarding content and language. The program is currently on a short hiatus after its initial three live broadcasts of the season.

New episodes are set to return on October 31, hosted by Inde Navarrette with musical guest Gracie Abrams. The broadcast can be viewed on NBC and streamed via Peacock.
