Saudi Arabia airstrike in Yemen kills at least 10
At least 10 people, including five children and two women, were killed and 23 others injured in an airstrike targeting a residence in the Saada governorate of northern Yemen. Houthi officials claim the strike, which occurred in the al-Tawila area of the Sahar district, destroyed the home of local resident Ali al-Qahm.
While Houthi-controlled health officials reported that many of the injured are in critical condition, Saudi Arabia has not yet issued a statement regarding the allegations.
In a separate development, the internationally recognized Yemeni government reported conducting 1,417 precision operations through its ‘Yemen Dawn Operation’ within a 24-hour period. The conflict in Yemen has persisted since 2014 following the Houthi takeover of the capital, Sanaa.
