Saudi Arabia deploys 21 pilgrim care centers at the Two Holy Mosques

The General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has launched an integrated system of pilgrim care centers operating 24 hours a day, year-round. The system consists of 21 centers, including two main hubs and 19 branch locations strategically distributed within the holy sites to ensure easy access.

These centers provide a wide range of services, including spatial and educational guidance to help visitors navigate the sites and perform rituals correctly. Support is available in multiple languages to assist international visitors. Other key services include lost and found assistance, luggage storage, and specialized care for priority groups such as the elderly and persons with disabilities.

The initiative also includes protocols for assisting lost individuals, particularly women and children, ensuring they are cared for until reunited with their families. To facilitate ease of use, the Authority has implemented QR codes that allow visitors to quickly locate the nearest service center. This operational model aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance the quality of services and the overall experience for pilgrims.
