Saudi Arabia executes man in Medina for drug promotion
The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced the execution of a death sentence in the Medina region against Abdulaziz bin Turabi bin Lahik al-Jabri, a Saudi national.
Al-Jabri was convicted of promoting hashish and controlled medical tablets. Following an investigation and a final court ruling that was upheld upon appeal, a royal order was issued to carry out the execution. The Ministry stated that this action underscores the government's commitment to protecting citizens and residents from the dangers of narcotics and warned that those involved in drug trafficking and promotion will face the strictest legal penalties.
